THE BEAT OF A FRAME

Velvet Chains - Eyes Closed

Director/Producer/Camera Operator/Editor

I worked on the concept of Lady Justice, Perversion, and Temptation

for this music video. I did the storyboard, proof of concept, casting, and reviewed the color palette, and the rhythmic editing style. I budgeted and scheduled the video, got the cast and crew, rented the location, did the backdrop animation, and coordinated logistics for the shoot. On post-production/editing, I balanced the dancer's techniques, the dark imagery, and the band's powerful performance. Shot with my BlackMagic 6k Pro.

Nita Strauss - Victorious

Producer

I handled all of the production needs in all stages, oversaw the projects, managed logistics, clients, and negotiations. I scheduled and budgeted project, made contracts and rentals, booked several locations including a gym, houses, and bar. I got talent, crew, and contacted and hired the stunt coordinator. Shot with the Red Dragon.

Temple Agents - Roses

Director / Producer / Editor

I wrote the script and pitched it to the band; a psychological drama that narrates the story of a single mother who resorts to sexual work to pay for her daughters chemotherapy, with a symbolic parallel with a dreamy world where she is healthy. I did a solid pre-production, which included a storyboard and proof of concept edit, location scouting (remote) and looking for crew, props, and talent. I directed this video remotely. The editing and post-production makes an aesthetically difference between both worlds. Shot with RED Cameras.

Rocky Rose - Let's Ride

Director / Producer / Editor

This video was essential to work on a narrative that was intricate and needed to intertwine with Rocky Roses' performance. With the song called "Let's Ride" it seemed to me that we needed to work on a story that had a car on it, so the artist and I figured out the "Uber driver rockstar fantasy" storyline. I storyboarded the whole video. Comedic gags are essential to this video, like the photographer, but also sound, which included effects, sound design, mix and recording. We has one day to shoot so we kept production costs to what was most important and my co-producer Liz took care of location management and designing a plan to move effectively between locations. In post-production, I prioritized a colorful and punchy color, especially blue, for the rockstar scenes, and a grey and washed-out color for her real life.

Black Veil Brides - Saviour II

Line Producer

I produced the “Saviour II” Music Video for Award Winning band Black Veil Brides. I Budgeted the project and designed Schedules, Agreements, and Releases. Managed the cast and crew, which included nearly 80 people. I rented and oversaw the Church location. I did the map and got the parking spot deal. I managed prop and gear rental and took care of On-Site Production logistics. I wrapped the shoot and went through the details with the location owner.

The Winery Dogs - Xanadu

Line Producer

I produced the “Xanadu” Music Video for the supergroup The Winery Dogs, featuring Richie Kotzen (solo artist, ex-Poison), Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater), and Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big, David Lee Roth). I budgeted the project, designed schedules, agreements, and releases, got the catering, managed the cast and crew. I scouted and rented the Malibu beach house location. I also managed prop and gear rental and took care of the On-Site Production logistics.

Wargasm UK - F*ckstar

Director / Producer

Probably one of the most challenging videos I've done, as the main location was in the middle of the desert, 3 hours from Los Angeles. I coordinated the traveling for over 60 cast and crew members. I budgeted the project, designed schedules, agreements, and releases, got the catering, water, and portable restrooms. I managed the cast and crew. I helped build the Thunder Dome and got an emergency towing service for the band's tour bus. Shot with RED cameras.

Nite Vertigo - The Other Side Of Midnight

Director of Photography

I was the Director Of Photography for the "The Other Side Of Midnight" Music Video for Nite Vertigo. I designed the shots, and went through the lightning, sense angle, frame rate, color, and effects, that the client needed to fulfill their vision. Shot with my Blackmagic 6k Pro and DJI Ronin RS3 Pro Gimbal.
